Ranked in the top five of USA Today’s list of North America’s 10 best festivals, Old Settler’s boasts a rich history dating back to 1987, evolving from a one-day bluegrass festival into a nationally renowned multi-day Americana, roots, folks, and bluegrass event. We are going back to our roots in 2026! In a move that makes Old Settler’s more accessible, financially sustainable, and responsive to feedback, Old Settler’s Music Festival returns to Camp Ben McCulloch in 2026 — the Texas Hill Country setting where so many unforgettable memories were made.
