One of our top partners for 2018 Old Settler’s Music Festival, bringing the most delicious barbecue in town at our gig, is The Original Black’s Barbecue.
Just like us, they are defined by tradition (although they started theirs about 50 years before we did!).
The Original Black’s Barbecue opened in 1932, and the business has remained in the family ever since. They have served the barbecue community for five generations and are ready to sweep you off your feet at our Festival!
Their famous finger-licking BBQ’s follow the recipes of Judge Edgar Black and have been cooked the same way for 85 years. The meat is slow smoked and has a touch of the local Post Oak Wood, which makes it the ideal amount of delicious. The smoked meat is free of gluten, but filled with patience and caring.
You will enjoy the original homemade sausage rings, as well as the upgraded recipes that contain garlic or jalapeño cheddar. To make sure they attain the perfect taste, every ring is hand stuffed and hand tied, carefully slow smoked and then fully cooked.
We are very honored to have them as a partner for this year’s Festival, and we bet you’ll love the barbecue and homemade sausages served by Judge Edgar Black’s grandson, Pitmaster Kent Black.
