Did you know that Old Settler’s Music Festival has our very own wine? Thanks to our friends over at Duchman Family Winery we actually have two wines, Mandolin Red and Harmony White.
We’re toasting our sponsors, vendors, volunteers and attendees!
Duchman Winery joined the Old Settler’s family in 2012 as a sponsor but thought crafting a festival wine would be an even cooler way to show their support for the festival. They’ve been producing festival wine, complete with each year’s commemorative Old Settler’s graphics, since 2013. Dave Reilly, winemaker at Duchman, says he specifically blends the Old Settler’s wine to be “refreshing” and “easy drinking” to suit the warm conditions of an outside festival in April, in Texas.
Duchman Winery offers a selection of award-winning wines available minutes away from the festival grounds, at their headquarters, in Driftwood, Texas. Bottles of Old Settler’s festival wine can be purchased at the winery or through Salt Lick Cellars (located next to The Salt Lick BBQ). Duchman Family Winery also sends the festival wine out during their second quarter wine club shipment so you can sign up and have it delivered right to your door. Both Mandolin Red and Harmony White are served exclusively throughout the festival so stop by both locations of the Watering Hole and grab a glass!
