Booking

Come Play on Our Stages.

Old Settler’s books approximately 30 artists for each festival. Every year, we work to book the perfect mix of established acts, local favorites, and breakout artists playing all flavors of roots music-including bluegrass, folk, acoustic, country, gospel, blues, and traditional.

If you’re an established musician and you’d like to talk about performing with us, have your booking agent get in touch . If you’re a new artist looking to play in the festival, be warned: we book only a very few new artists. Still, who knows? You could be an exception.

Here are some of the things we look for in the new artists we book:

  • - Great music that falls within the broad category of Americana or roots.
    - At least one professionally-recorded CD.
    - The ability to demonstrate at least a small following.

For the 2014 festival, we will book new artists through the electronic submissions service SonicBids. You can also send mp3’s to info@oldsettlersmusicfest.org,or hardcopy CD’s to the following address:

We are currently not accepting unsolicited submissions for the April 2013 festival, but we will start considering new acts for 2014 on July 1, 2013.

Please wait until then to send us your application, as we won’t be able to keep CD’s sent before then. We look forward to hearing your music!
