Thinking about bring your kids to the festival? Old Settler’s is a family-friendly celebration for all ages. Bring em along!

Children twelve and under get in free when accompanied by a paying adult. We’ve got lots of activities to keep children of all ages amused. Camp Fire USA will host hula hooping workshops, arts and crafts, and an Earth Day kids’ parade. More activities for the kiddos include face painting with Art for Your Head, a petting zoo, pony rides, storytelling, a talent competition, monster slide, and rock climbing. There’s also a playground and swings at Camp Ben McCulloch, and lots of beautiful nature to explore!

Parade! Join us for the 2nd Annual Earth Day Parade on Saturday afternoon! We will meet at the Kids Activity tent by 4:20pm to get in on the parade action! The parade will begin immediately following the Youth Talent Winner Performance.

Recycled Art & Parade Projects Get creative and make some cool art from recycled stuff! Prepare for the Parade by making a Superhero of the Earth Cape, noise makers, newspaper hats, magic wands, animal masks…whatever goes!

Hula Hoops Enjoy the hula hoops that will be spread through out the festival ground! Please return the hoops to a designated Hoop Return Spot after you’re spun out!

Puppet Theater Play with puppets and put on a show for your friends!

Painting & Coloring Express your self with markers, crayons and paints!

Earth Pledge Come sign the Earth Pledge and add a touch of artwork to it! The Earth Pledge will be displayed throughout the festival and carried during the Parade on Saturday afternoon.
Kite Making Make your own mini-kite to fly in the sky!

Angler Casting Practice fishing by casting & catching big plastic fish!

Environmental Education Come check out replica animal skulls, scat and tracks and make your own field guide!
